Derek Miller is from the Six Nations of the Grand River in Ontario and is a singer-songwriter. His aesthetics of roots inflected and soul-stirring rock and roll will animate the stage. Derek’s latest release, Derek Miller with Double Trouble, is a mix of soul, blues and country. “Hillbilly soul with some Mohawk/Onondaga swagger.” He’s also been awarded ‘Best Blues CD’ at the 2012 and 2013 Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards.
